Night of Prayer

Every Tuesday night at 7:00. On some evenings there is "directed prayer" for a particular focus, but there is always time for you to pray for the things on your heart and mind. Meet in the Chapel building, room C-111. Please park between the buildings and enter through the east door.

Prayer is talking and listening to God. It is sharing our thoughts, questions, fears, desires - opening our lives to God, holding nothing back. It is telling God our admiration for who He is, and contemplating His qualities. It is listening while He talks to us, providing comfort, peace, guidance, and direction requiring our worshipful obedience.

Prayer is also solidarity. Just as Jesus bore our burdens on His cross, we bear the burdens of others as if they were our own, laying them before the Father. In prayer, we approach Him in the names of those who don't yet know Jesus, asking God to bring them into His family.

Through special focuses, we unite in crying out to the Father, that His heavenly kingdom would break through on earth.

To share a prayer request with our church family, send an email to office@lakeviewpark.org.

Mom to Mom

On the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursday mornings of each month, mothers of young children meet together for laughter, sharing, prayer ... all while their children are cared for nearby. This is not a "mother's day out" program, but a free ministry to encourage mothers. For more information, please contact the church office.

World Missions at LVP

As Christians, one of our greatest joys is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to those who have never heard of him. Through regular offerings (Faith Promise) we are able to support the work of Nazarene missionaries around the world, take the gospel to our adopted people group, and support other missionaries as they go to places we've never heard about.
